I thought that the exhibit on Leslie Dill at the Museum of Fine Arts were interesting and quite entertaining. Dill's pieces reveal not only the artistic aspect of her work, but also the creativity of a fine sculpter. Dill's pieces demonstrated the reality that artwork not only must have a visual impact on the person who views it, but also an emotional connection with the piece that is presented. Her artwork goes beyond the fact of what is considered good artwork, but digs deeper into the revelation that artwork has many connections, whether they are spiritual, physical, emotional or visual.
My favorite Leslie Dill piece would have to be Word Queen With Silver and Black Letters.
