Kelly's Narrative - Kelly, I loved your narrative because I can completely relate to the tattoo experience. I have 7 tattoos myself. I got my first one when I was 15 and it is now covered. The experience of getting a tattoo is like nothing else. I am like you when I get angry or overwhelmed I find myself drawn to the tattoo shop. My first only took about 15 min. My last took a total of about 13 hrs. I think that you could explain the process maybe a little more. I think a lot of people still see tattoo shops as dirty places. Also, do you draw your art yourself? Do you pick it off of the wall? Do you have it drawn up for you by the artist? This is definitely a topic I wouldnt mind maybe collaborating on. Some people dont see the real art behind the work either.
Jacob Parker's Narrative - Jacob, Your paper grabbed my attention from the beginning. I was hooked right from the first sentence. You have a great technique for story telling. I think they you grab your audience by the hair and pull them in right away and don't let go until the end. I love the transition and how smooth your paper flows. I have high anxiety and I don't know if the story is true but I definitely know what that is like.
Sue's Narrative - Sue, I loved the fact that you brought everyone into a day in your life as a single mom/ student/ taxi driver. I think that It was a good paper and you reached out to your auidence. I do not have and kids yet, but this paper gave me a look into what I can expect when that day comes. I like the way that your paper flowed and I am excited to see where this paper goes!
